All the fun of the fair

Living to near to the seafront means we can make the most of a lovely day and spend it at the fair!  Good ole Adventure Island is a great place to hang out in the summer.. better with a bud says Cassie who took her friend Zarah with us...

During the holidays Lee and I took the kids over to Great Notley part to take part in their High Ropes course.

I had heart failure even before they got all strapped up!

 

 But they all had a great time!

Spirit of the Horse

As a very special treat and because she is so into her horses at the mo, I took Cassandra to see Spirit of the Horse at the beginning of August..

She ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, especially as she got to meet the riders and stallions afterwards too.

Summer hols

I have to say that I made it to week 5 before wishing my darling beasites were back at school, so for me that was a real achievement!

They all had fun over the 6 weeks, with visiting friends, having friends over, playing in the pool, taking part in airsoft wars, and many many other activities.

Thank the Lord for gorgeous weather..!

Long time, no see - Alicante July 2018

Hello!

So, as usual, life gets in the way of blogging, so a few posts to bring everyone up to date!

The Butler family holiday this year was spent in Alicante, Spain, where with a bit of pre planning, Alexander was able to complete his PADI open water diving and gained his qualification!

  

We spent lots of relaxing time on the nearby beach on down at the pool..

 We even ventured into the town one rather hot day to visit the Marina,

 Have an AWESOME ice cream..

 And just chill.

 Good family time.
