Scrap a Go Go

For the last God knows how many years, twice a year Mum and I depart for Theobalds Hotel in Hertfordshire to spend the weekend with some lovely ladies, scrapbooking ALL weekend!  We LOVE IT!!

This year was no exception - especially as I got to meet up with a great friend of mine, Tracy and have a laugh with no kids and no hubby around (love them all dearly)!

The GoGo Team put lots of effort into the weekend and out of all the classes I did, the one below of Eileen's was my absolute favourite...

Thanks Team GoGo for another great weekend x

Cross Country runner

Nicholas is a real athlete, he loves any sport and last year, was chosen from only a few in his Year 4 to represent Blenheim Primary school in country Cross Country at Garons.  He's a fast runner, but others were much faster... He did however complete the course and I was there cherring him on.  I'm so proud of him.

AND

Rochelle's Tic Tac Toe challenge.  I went down the right hand column: enamel dots, journaling strips and stars.  I didn't have any enamel dots so tried to make my own.  They didn't come out too bad and I used them as bullet points for the journaling.

True Love...

I'm going away for the weekend in a few weeks to a Scrap-a-GoGo retreat.  One of their pre-getaway challenges was entitled 50 Shades of Grey plus one - the idea being that the layout could only have shades of grey (black and white included) and ONE other colour.

This photo is of my darling 5 year old (!) and her "boyfriend" Jacob...  They say you never forget your first love!?!?

Birthday girl..

I've decided that I'm going to be 39 forever, so no one is allowed to mention the fact that I just turned 42...

I've been feeling a little low and left out of things lately but I definately felt the love yesterday even by the number of people that kindly wished me a lovely day on my facebook wall.  I was spoilt rotten by everyone, receiving some lovely cards, gifts (a new craft cutter and a Pandora bead), pennies (Joe Browns here I come).

I also get to celebrate all week by eating as I'm lunching or having breakfast with someome special every day this week!  Not sure I shoudl bother weighing in on Friday!

One of my favourite gifts had to be my new Scout swearshirt courtesy of my wonderful friend Sue..
Thank you to everyone that made my day very special.
