Love is Sweet - Lasting Memories sketch challenge #504

So this is the first page I completed today of a two page layout of my half brother's wedding to Lorraine back in August 2016.

I'd only been back in touch with him for a few years, but was thrilled when he not only invited us all to attend the day, but also asked Cassandra to be one of Lorraine's bridesmaids too.  She was made up to wear a pretty dress and shoes and have her hair all curled!

I didn't go for the usual "wedding" type layout, but I'm pleased with the results.

Challenge closes at the end of the month:

Summer camp - Stick it Down's July Double Page challenge

Been meaning to create this layout for ages, seems I have so many doubles to do, this one was all about when I took both the boys to Scout Summer camp.  Camp was themed Harry Potter and I was Head of Ravenclaw House!

July Double Page Sketch

Stick it Down 's double page sketch just worked for me this month.

Entries close at the end of July.

Kick! - Stick it down / ARTastic challenges

So trying to take some time for myself and get my scrappin' mojo back.

I created this layout of Nicholas practicing his goal kicks, whilst he had his broken thumb the other year.
I used the sketch from Stick it Down and took inspiration from ARTastic's July challenge of sport and used pen to finish off my layout around the outside.

Both challenges close at the end of the month

Forever - July sketch challenge at Scrap Academy

Despite being on lockdown for God knows how many weeks now, I've not really done much scrappin' - lots of CPD, but not much sticking and gluing.

However this month's sketch challenge at Scrap Academy on Facebook was just perfect for the photo of the boys and I.  I'm not really into 'white space' but thought I'd followed the sketch quite well.  I even got my textured paint out!

Plenty of time to enter as closing date isn't until end of July
