ScrapaGoGo No.11

Having just returned from another WONDERFUL GoGo scrapbooking retreat and having completed 21 layouts (a record even for me), I thought I'd share the 7 class projects/layouts I did...
This was one of my favourite classes - the technique being that we had to dress the manaquin..
Loved this class too - the most fun as the spiders move up and down!
This had to have been my favourite technique class as the peach paper is actually loo roll as are all of the white cut out flowers!
Chevrons are in - big time!
Lots of fussy cutting on this one with a great pic of my girly..
Loved this class for its simplicity and the photo of Alexander and I on his first day of school this year is just perfect..
Never having attempted anything like this before, I was very pleased with my canvass end result.  I'm going to give this to Cassandra for Christmas.

I had a wicked time with Mum and met up again with some great friends.  Roll on March next year!

Man of the Match!!!

Guess who won Man of the Match again yesterday!?!?!?!?!?!?

So proud of my boy :)

Teacher Training Day

A scheduled teacher training day yesterday allowed a little planning on an "educational" trip up to London.

I had a half price Groupon voucher to go to "Ripleys believe it or not" so that's where we were headed..

 From the world's tallest man
To the world's heaviest man we saw them all!
The kids fav bit was the Mission Impossible - Laser race - lots of laser beams all over a room and you had to work your way through without touching them - Cassandra and I did the best!
An impromptu sighing of Darth Vada excited the kids (and Lee)
and then it was off to the Science Museum
 I LOVED the space area
but the kids enjoyed the interactive floor the best...
Amazing how science can be so interesting to young minds...
Even Cassandra could take part!
An electric shock or two later and it was time to go home.

Everyone did brilliantly walking around London all day - am now planning the next trip!

Scrapology - New Beginnings

Scrapology have a "new beginnings" challenge going at the moment and whilst I don't normally create cards (I'm more of a scrapbook fiend), a friend of mine is due to have a baby boy in the next couple of weeks, so thought I'd get a head start!
The challenge runs until 15th October -so still time to enter!

Lucky Flutterby Creations is offering a free goodies giveaway..  Just click on this link and the details are there.

Thanks Brandi!!!

So proud of the boys!

Sunday saw the kids, Mum and I all at Harvest Festival Church Parade at St Peter's church.
Alex had the honour (again - so lucky) of carrying the flag in quite a full church..
Other than it being Harvest church parade, the main reason for us all attending was the fact that Nicholas achieved and was awarded his Queen Scout Bronze Award
And Alexander achieved and was awarded his Queen Scout Silver Award
So, so proud of my boys :)
