They appreciate him....
Touched wasn't in it as he so wasn't expecting it and was actually welling up when Laura gave it to him at the Team's Christmas party this afternoon at the Fun Factory.
The inscription reads: "Merry Christmas - Lee - from Leigh Ramblers Under 7 Tigers"
Way to go baby, so proud of you.
Leigh Ramblers U7 Tigers vs. Hambro Colts Lions
The pitch over at Belfairs was rather wet and muddy today, but that didn't stop play of the last match of this year for our team.
The Hambro Colts Lions team were good and our first half goalie Ben did brilliantly saving loads of attempts from them to score... however they succeeded getting the ball past Nicholas in the second half - despite his amazing flying attempt to save it...
A brilliant goal from Freddie Knight saw us equalise in the second half and the final score was 1-1.
A great team pic (minus Jack Duce who had to leave a little earlier) and Man of the Match went to Isaac!
The boys are all looking forward to their Christmas party later this afternoon at the Fun Factory.

soooooooooooooooooooo EXCITED!!!
I worked my little Avon toooshie off this year and due to that hard work, the whole family is soon off to Lapland!!
I think I'm more excited that the kids are, but all of us are very much looking forward to having dinner with Father Christmas!
Both lee and I will be taking our cameras so there will be LOADS of photos to be viewed when we get back!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPP!

23 sleeps 'til Santa...
We always put our Christmas decorations up the first weekend in December, however this year I was a little worried that this wouldn't happen as Saturday morning, Lee and Nicholas had football training, then they came home and the 3 boys went off up to the Emirates stadium to watch Arsenal loose 2-0 to Swansea. They didn't get back until late and then Lee and I went out to dinner.
So then it got to Sunday and Nicholas had a football match in the morning, then Liam (the boys tutor) came round for an hour or so, we had dinner and then Lee finally managed to get the decs down from the loft.
However, we then went off to the Fun Factory to meet up with some good friends and again, didn't get back until late.
The kids were desperate to put up the decs though and to be honest, so was I, so we managed to get the tree up and our 3 little people had great fun decorating it with baubles and any dec's that they had made over the various years..
Many of my friends don't let their kids decorate the tree. It has to be evenly balanced, colour co-ordinated etc etc, but I don't agree. There is no other time during the year that family is more important than Christmas and our family will always have the tradition of decorating the tree together... They were very proud of their efforts this year..
We even have some pressies already to put underneath it courtesy of Stu, Xuan and Amanda!
Go Nicholas, go Nicholas.....
Today, the Leigh Rambles U7 Tigers were playing Southend Manor at home and it was their best game yet!
They played amazingly as a team, passing the ball to each other and calling for it and it was only a lucky goal from the opposing side 5 minutes before the end of the game that made it a 2-2 draw.
Nicholas however was on fire today - a brilliant goalie first half and one of the goal scorers in the second - no wonder he got man of the match again!
Sooooo Proud :0
