Least we forget..

For the first time in about 6 years I found myself on the other side of Remembrance in that my children were showing their respect and support for the fallen, whilst in uniform and I was not.  I felt quite sad about that, but I was at least still in attendance.

Lee and I split ourselves today, as there was no football match, he went with Nicholas to see Cassandra parade with 4th Rochford Cubs in Rochford and at their service at St Andrews.

Whilst my Mum and I went with Alexander to see him parade in the Royal British Legion's parade in Rayleigh as part of his scout group 1st Rayleigh.  The actual church service held at Holy Trinity was lovely, just what a remembrance service should be and I even got to sit next to the bugler!

Proud of both my beasties, especially as Alex got to be escort to the Flag Bearer (the other Alex)!
