Young Love - Stick it Down single page challenge

So at the age of 8, Cassandra was in love with a boy in her class called Henry.

They were "together" for a while until he broke her heart by "splitting up" with her and then "going out" with one of her friends.  (How dare he)?!!

So I used the sketch over at Stick it Down - a new challenge blog I've found to record who she was with over Valentine's day last year.
The challenge ends at the end of the month:

Those ribbons are great, and I love that you chose purple instead of the traditional reds and pinks.

Although the pain of her break up may still sting, I bet she'll be happy one day to look back on this moment of time that you captured for her (or maybe not, lol). Thank you for playing along with us at Stick it Down.

SO sweet! What an adorable story to share! I love how you used ribbons instead of paper scraps! I love it and I never thought of purple as a "love" color when I see layouts like this, next time I will be definitely be using purple on MY layout instead of red or pink! ~Melissakay SID DT
