I just love the build up and excitement of Christmas eve..

Naughty Little Elf

Those of my friends and family that are on my facebook page will know that this year, Cassandra had a guest stay with us for the month of December.  A little elf called Candy.

She was supposed to be keeping an eye on Cassandra and reporting back to Santa if she's been naughty or nice, however Candy got up to some serious mischief whilst she was with us...
From playing with the loo rolls..

 Eating all the chocolates..
Building a race track to race Cassie's My Little Pony's..
And drinking blue milk in the fridge.
However, some of the toys got their own back on her, including Ice Queen Elsa who froze her..
And Darth Vada who used the force on her!
Candy had to go home on Christams eve, but I'm sure she may be back next year!

Early Christmas

Every year before Christmas day, we all pile round to Mum's for christmas at her house.

Every year the kids (and Lee and I) get a pre-Christmas goodies bag, but this year I did one for Mum too!

My very clever Mummy made them all a clock for their bedrooms too!

Just loving' Mum's slippers this year too!

We even all attended the local church's Carol service, all good fun...

Midwife Crises

So behind in posts, but anyway...

All the way back before Chrimbo, Cassandra took part in her last Christmas production at school as they only do them in KS1 - The show this year was called "Midwife crisis".

She took the part of a censous taker and was also part of the main choir!

She delivered her lines with much professionalim and enjoyed being on stage.

Lee, Alexander, Mum and I loved watching her do her stuff and singing her little heart out!

Another end of an era...

Santa Claus is coming to town...

Well, to Adventure Island at least...

Each year I take the kids to see the big man himself and this year we went down to Adventure Island.
Mum came to and very generously treated us all to lunch at Tomassis - none of us have been ther forever, and it was lovely food!
Wondering down to the seafront we came across Santa and a couple of his elves - happy to pose for a pic..
As was one of the reindeer!
We arrived at Adventure Island and the kids thought the dancing air filled Santa's were brilliant.

A quick letter to Santa
and then a pose (LOVE this pic of the 3 of them) before walking through their wonderland escorted by an elf!

Before finally meeting the Man himself and having a good ole chat.
Instead of a gift, Santa gave them all a lucky star to be exchanged in the toy shop for a present of their choice.

I love Christams!

School fete & school football

My days of spending every waking hour at school setting up and breaking down the hall for the school fete are long over, but it's always nice to just go along..
This year they had a visit of some reindeer which went down very well with Cassandra and Millie!
This year, Cassandra is part of the school choir and they were singing at the fete.
Everyone did really well and enjoyed themselves whilst us proud parents looked on.

Whilst all this was going on, Nicholas was playing in goal for the school team..

After a bit of help from Mr Shaw, they kicked off with lots of parents cheering them on.
By the end of the match it was rather dark but they put up a good fight!
