Resolution success (so far)

Mum has been choosen to be a guest designer on one of the scrapbooking websites - Colourful Creations and I'm so thrilled for her.  http://colorfulcreations.ning.com/page/guest

Her challenge was to use a sketch, and here is my entry - and my first layout of 2013!!

New Year's Resolutions..?!?!

I think I did okay with my last year's resolutions of blogging more and scrappin' more... well, one out of two isn't bad... ?!
So, this year, whilst there are all sorts of resolutions I could make and them promptly breatk the only one I going state and I'm determined to fulfill, is I want to SCRAPBOOK MORE - and that includes sorting out my photos on a regular basis as I'm so behind that the task to sort what ones I want, upload them to Photobox and then order them is very daunting...

Christmas

I had the dilemma of what to post about first - Lapland or Christmas, so I've gone with Chrimbo and I'll do Lapland tomorrow :0

After the kids put out a glass of milk (Santa has to drive the sleigh and cannot be under the influence of alcohol), a mince pie this year and a carrot for Rudolph, off they all went quite happy to go to bed for once :)

Christmas morning dawned and after sending Alexander back to bed at 4.45am, a more decent hour of 7am came around and after opening their gifts in their stockings on our bed, we all went down to the kitchen to see what Santa had left each of them...

Alexander had been most insistant that he wanted the latest Nerf gun..
The only thing Cassandra had gone on and on about was her "sleeping baby Annabel doll"
And Nicholas was thrilled with his requested Vectron Wave!
A move to the Den and sacks of pressie's from Mummy and Daddy saw a big Lego theme going on for both the boys..

And Cassie was more than happy with her new pink dressing table..
A little while later Nannie arrived with more sacks of pressies and the kids were more than spoilt with camera's, camcorders, Battle ships, books and a whole stack more!

Lee's doody camera has a timer on it, so I love this picture of us all at dinner...
Late afternoon, my Uncle Tony and his other half came round and we played with the kids some more and then had a few games once they had finally hit the sack.  All in all a good Christmas day, albeit Mum really wasn't feeling too well...

Boxing Day always sees us at the in-laws and this year Lisa, Greg and their twins Hannah and Robert were also there, together with Lee's Nan and Grandad too.

Lee managed to get this brill pic of the 5 grand kids!

I got my usual Ferrero Rocher - and no I didn't open them and share..
Nicholas loved his Surbeutto football game...
Alexander thanking Grandad for the even more Lego
Cassie had first dibs on opening her pressies as she's the youngest!

Again, a lovely Boxing Day was had by all :)

They appreciate him....

This amazing tankard was presented to lee from all the parents of Leigh Ramblers Under 7 Tigers team that he's been coaching this year.
Touched wasn't in it as he so wasn't expecting it and was actually welling up when Laura gave it to him at the Team's Christmas party this afternoon at the Fun Factory.

The inscription reads: "Merry Christmas - Lee - from Leigh Ramblers Under 7 Tigers"

Way to go baby, so proud of you.

Leigh Ramblers U7 Tigers vs. Hambro Colts Lions

The pitch over at Belfairs was rather wet and muddy today, but that didn't stop play of the last match of this year for our team.

The Hambro Colts Lions team were good and our first half goalie Ben did brilliantly saving loads of attempts from them to score... however they succeeded getting the ball past Nicholas in the second half - despite his amazing flying attempt to save it...
A brilliant goal from Freddie Knight saw us equalise in the second half and the final score was 1-1.
A great team pic (minus Jack Duce who had to leave a little earlier) and Man of the Match went to Isaac!

The boys are all looking forward to their Christmas party later this afternoon at the Fun Factory.

soooooooooooooooooooo EXCITED!!!

I worked my little Avon toooshie off this year and due to that hard work, the whole family is soon off to Lapland!!

I think I'm more excited that the kids are, but all of us are very much looking forward to having dinner with Father Christmas!

Both lee and I will be taking our cameras so there will be LOADS of photos to be viewed when we get back!
